PrimeTime Dinner Theatre “The Fox Valley’s Premier Dinner Theatre”

Dinner is your choice of Signature Entrees from Perfect Presentations “Banderas Bay” Sole Filet rolled and stuffed with scallops and seasoned bread crumbs or “Broadway Chicken” breast stuffed with cranberries, golden raisins, and almonds. Dinner comes complete with fresh vegetables, garden fresh salad, and fresh baked dinner rolls. Your choice: coffee/tea/milk and water served. Wine/beer/cocktails/soft drinks available at additional cost.

Beverly Hills will never be the same! In this Neil Simon classic, four couples, from London, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York, travel to California at different times during the same year- each occupying the same Beverly Hills hotel suite, to which they bring their problems, anxieties and comic marital dilemmas. If these walls could talk…what stories could they share?

August 12-14th: “Same Time, Next Year” by Bernard Slade performed by Fox River Theatre Company. Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn starred in the movie version of this romantic comedy. New Jersey accountant George and Oakland, CA. housewife Doris meet by chance at a romantic inn over dinner at a Northern California inn in February 1951. They have an affair, and then agree to meet once a year. Over the course of the next 24 years, they fall deeper in love, discussing the births, deaths, and marital problems each is experiencing at home, while they adapt themselves to the social changes affecting their lives.

September 24-25th: “And The Winner Is”
The Story: And The Winner Is tells the comic story of Tyler Johnes, a self-obsessed movie star, who is finally nominated for an Oscar, then dies the night before the awards. Outraged at his bad luck and determined to know if he wins (even though he’s dead), he bargains with a heavenly gatekeeper to return to earth for the big night. Along the way, he drags his agent, his acting rival, his bombshell girlfriend and his ex-wife into the journey, in a wildly twisting tale of Hollywood, the afterlife, and how we are judged.

October 7-9th: “There’s No Such Thing as Ghosts!”
October 15-16th: “There’s No Such Thing as Ghosts!” A Spooky Comedy by James R. Lawrence performed by Fox River Theatre Company.
There’s plenty of laughs when a group of tourists get stranded in a mansion, complete with a creepy housekeeper, gangsters searching for money, and a ghost trying to avenge his death!

Christmas is here at last in the Maxwell home! Lucas and Courtney are very anxious to open their presents. But Pa Maxwell says, “No, not until cousin Arthur gets here.” Arthur just got out of the hospital and Mr. Maxwell is intent on giving him the merriest Christmas imaginable. While the Maxwells are out delivering food to the Salvation Army, Muggsy and Elmer, a couple of hapless thieves, drop in very much intent upon burglarizing the place. While they are stumbling around the room, the Maxwells mistake him for cousin Arthur and the result is a complete three-ring circus of howls, laughter, and Christmas fun!
